The region near Lake Geneva and in the foothills of the Alps is special, but particularly special to me, as this is my region, where I live. Here are some great destinations I'd like to share with you.
Lake Geneva and the French Alps region, a spectacle of nature's grandeur and a playground for the adventurous, promises beauty, excitement, and serenity.
Whether lakes or mountains or delightful cities, this is a region − formally known as Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes − where landscapes are breathtaking and energy begins to flow as soon as you walk outside.
For many, this is just a winter wonderland of ski slopes and crackling fireplaces. To me, it is home. Here are some of destinations to visit in this gorgeous region.
